It’s my duty as a historian to remind you that one of Obama’s biggest blunders was not prosecuting any members of the Bush/Cheney administration or the Wall Street crowd behind the 2008 crash, granting impunity to war criminals, torturers, and white collar criminals.

The last time Democrats had power in the Senate, Chuck Schumer blocked *bipartisan* bills that would have prohibited big tech exploitation from even getting a floor vote.
This is an economic populist anti-big tech wave and those bills and more are getting a vote this time.
The voters clearly want to cut big tech down to size, stop it from running industrial policy, regulate it, force it open, stop the madness of Andreessen and Google running the country.
Not for nothing the lobbyists are scurrying around this morning trying to make big tech anger an asterix, and only "really" about data centers.
this is my greatest fear - that Dems will once again squander their great opportunity. Please - start by kicking Schumer and Jeffries out of their leadership posts.
For Chuck Schumer to even SUGGEST that Trump might "change his ways" to work with him and the Democrats is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Democrats like him are the REASON that The Trump Treason Train has RUN AMERICA OFF ITS TRACKS for the past 10 years! Both 2016 and 2024 were RIGGED for Trump and some GOP members of Congress, but Democratic leadership collectively decided NOT TO CONTEST! This is why, even though I voted for Harris in 2024, I would NEVER vote for her, AGAIN! Even when Democrats held the EXECUTIVE BRANCH and the SENATE, during Biden's administration, Trump and his cronies were allowed to CONTINUE their crime spree without ANY CONSEQUENCES!
