I gotta say, nfl is getting dangerously close to eroding regular season importance. 7 playoff teams, 17 games, and seeds 2-7 are basically the same thing. Lions Packers right now is 2 good fun teams and I genuinely don't give a fuck, and it does not matter who wins

I don't know how to tell people this, but on a rate basis the answer is so far and away Dion Lewis. And it's not even close either
Mondre is like, maybe gonna be the best RB in Pats history

The second the Pats drafted Treveyon Henderson pick 38, the process was already terrible. Astonishingly, the results have somehow taken the cake as worse than the process

It was great to see a contrasted Bears team, who has poured high value draft picks and top end free agent dollars into WR, OL, and TE. They've been a machine for 3-4 years now doing that. It's paid off big time

If the Pats are gonna get 2.5 yards per carry vs light boxes there is really no chance

Wish we had Belichick for qbs like Caleb. Classic qb who loves to escape once the edge loses leverage. You need to contain rush him. If you blow the edge, its game over Reminds me of the gameplan vs Russ in sb49
Top quarterbacks when pressured this season in terms of EPA/dropback (min. 100 total dropbacks): 1. Caleb Williams, +0.15 2. Bryce Young, -0.02 3. Brock Purdy, -0.06 4. Josh Allen, -0.07 5. Patrick Mahomes, -0.10 6. Drake Maye, -0.10 7. Kirk Cousins, -0.15 8. Kyler Murray, -0.18 9. Lamar Jackson, -0.21 10. Dak Prescott, -0.22 Data: @SumerSports

Hot topic of Maye's sack damage, here is a comparison of how each season has started. He's taken on no water the last 100 dropbacks, barely any damage Let's see if it can continue

Drake Maye has a 90.9 QBR over his last 3 games, which is extraordinary. I went back and looked how rare that is. Just 44 times in the last 20 years has a 3 game stretch been this good. Here are the most recent ones:

If you're wondering, Brady showed up in 2010, and twice in 2007

What I love about QBR is it is contextualized. Unlike passer rating, it knows exactly what elite qb play looks like. You can't even fake it for 3 games. Pretty much everyone on this list is a rarified talent

Great career for Rhamondre but he鈥檚 turning gaping wide holes into 4 yard runs at this point

Like usual, boatloads of wr talent has come into the nfl every year like a flooding dam. The Patriots continue to miss all of it Forfeiting a 1st round pick and the Doubs contract was a consequence
I really wanted Noel in the 2025 draft. Pats went Henderson at 38, Kyle Williams at 69. Noel went 79 I liked Kyle Williams too, but it'll be interesting to track this

This one was obvious
I'm really just not interested in Kyle Pitts at all. Isaiah Likely is better at pretty much everything, would love to go after him If they give 50 mil guaranteed to Pitts it would ring alarm bells on the whole operation

154 completed QB games so far this year. In the last 2 weeks, Drake Maye had the 2nd and 11th best ones

QBR is a beautiful stat man. If you farm a bunch of production when win prob < 10%, it knows! If you play a terrible defense, it knows! If a wr houses a bubble screen 70 yards, it knows!

After lighting up the Bills for a 93.3 QBR, Drake Maye is already up to 10th in QBR

Jags had 13 penalties today and beat cincy pretty easily. They have a loaded roster, as does Seattle
