Detected over 10 days ago. Just like HPTT, Heino 1, and Heino 2 before it.

GOING AFTER DMA CHEATS
Ahead of DMZ Early Access earlier this week, we launched new RICOCHET Anti-Cheat detections targeting DMA cheats.
DMA, or Direct Memory Access, cheats use external hardware to access game information cheaters should never have, including information about opponents and their in-game locations.
By operating outside the PC running Call of Duty, DMA cheats are designed to evade traditional software-based protections.

PSA: Boosting, smurfing, hitchhiking… it’s all cheating.
Vanguard’s boosting detection expanded from @LeagueOfLegends to @VALORANT earlier this summer and bans have been rolling out ever since. 296,416 rent-a-rank customers served and counting.

RICOCHET Anti-Cheat doesn't end when your match does.
Cheat makers operate around the world. So do we. We’re taking the fight directly to cheat sellers.
Last weekend during the Closed Beta, we went to Ohio to takedown Elocarry.
That’s not an isolated case...

I'll investigate some of these leads, but Caspere is a known booster who has already been banned several times in the past. Supposedly he's reformed and just provides intel on the opposition only to benefit himself, or actually helps it's a 50/50 but he knows that I always ban him if he does go rogue
Just like all reports we receive, we don't know the intent, but if we see wrongdoing we will ban them. We usually get our best reports from boosters and cheaters rather than the casual ladder players

Ever wondered what goes on behind anti-cheat systems and see if you can beat them? Or maybe for the more experienced, what new experimental tech we've been developing? And see if you can beat it and survive our detections! Now's your chance 😁

Starting later today, Vanguard will be able to run in on-demand mode for players on Windows 11.
You just need to enable some optional security features for your motherboard, and your taskbar can have 256 of its pixels back. Take it away, @deteccphilippe.

Any DMA firmware works for your game. You clearly do not play your own game to realize it yourself. I'll give you a few examples:
github.com/cur-114/usb-respo…
github.com/cur-114/FL1100
github.com/Herooyyy/Free-DMA…
I could continue posting examples, such as the infamous VMD firmware for Heino 2, but you are actively analyzing cheat providers yourself, so there is no need.
We all understand that you want to defend your team, and no one wants to undermine the hours you guys pour into the game to make it better. I don't want to bluntly attack your product. I'm just trying to be honest and realistic about where you are positioned in the Anti-Cheat race: EAC, ACE, VGK, and even FACEIT are way ahead of your product.
There are tens of thousands of players out here who love your game and are as passionate about its success as you are. But when you make statements like this while we see the exact opposite in game, it's hard to trust your words about your efforts.
Look at the conversations around the original tweet and your responses. If the majority of the player base has stopped believing your public statements about the state of the Anti-Cheat, maybe it's time to rethink the approach.

Thanks for the reply 🫶
The issue is this vulnerability wouldn't have been fixed this fast without @nickeverdox's work. This is the result of relying primarily on AI. Without reverse engineering or buying cheats yourself, you have to rely on a Vanguard Anti-Cheat Engineer.

Clarifying the @Trainwreckstv ban:
This wasn’t just a 5-stack with friends on their own accounts.
An Immortal player (with prior boosting bans on their main) was swapping between MULTIPLE lower-rank smurfs/shared accounts they did not own. That group ran ~80% winrate across ~50 games.
This directly violates ToS section 15a (a): “playing on another person’s account or otherwise engaging in activity intended to “boost” an account’s status or rank.” riotgames.com/en/terms-of-se…
Quick note on the leaked screenshot: I typed “account he doesn't know” by mistake I meant “doesn’t own”. Typo on my end, my bad. I had already said multiple times in the conversation that there were people in that stack using accounts they didn’t own, so I didn’t think I needed to re-clarify it. That part got taken completely out of context.
5-stacking is completely fine if everyone is on accounts they personally own and hand-leveled. We’ve been actioning the shared-alt + deliberate MMR lowering version for over a year (probably longer). We even made public announcements about it: xitter.cf/ItsGamerDoc/status/191…
We are seeing five-stacks queue up with one higher ranked account and multiple lower-ranked shared accounts to manipulate matchmaking for easier wins. Manipulating matchmaking this way will result in a suspension and HWID ban for all accounts engaging in the behavior.
We have started bans and will continue banning when we see this kind of abuse on the ladder.

Ring-1 is an oldie we dealt with 3 years ago, and they haven't ever made a comeback, still, after a good ass-whooping, funny how nothing has really changed, really lol
Good analysis and read from these lads, would recommend a gander at it
We’re releasing our analysis of ring-1.io, a major game cheat targeted by multiple studios in recent legal actions. We partially deobfuscated several Themida-protected components and document how it hijacks Hyper-V to inject and manipulate game code.

We are aware of an active security incident where a bad actor is able to control the inputs of another player remotely in @PlayApex.
Based on our initial investigation, we have not identified evidence that suggests the bad actors can install or execute code as in the case of an RCE or injection attack.
We are actively working on a solution and will update you when we have more information.
