If a component can’t meet its cost target at volume, it doesn’t go in… even if it performs well.
Those are hard decisions. But they’re part of building a test that can ultimately reach consumers at a low price.
Our manufacturing model is built around a $5 cost ceiling at volume.
That’s a firm design constraint. Every component has to fit within that total budget to earn its place in the device.
