Can’t begin to describe the impact O.J. has had on so many youths in our community. His calm, steadfast leadership helped elevate our program to the upper echelon of prep baseball in AZ💯
Our gratitude to him can not be measured in words❤️
Coach, you will be EXTREMELY missed.😞
Huge development: Legendary O.J. Favela stepping down as Nogales’ baseball coach after 22 years.

.@ApacheBaseball1 great Demetrio Crisantes talks about elevating to Triple-A this year with the Arizona Diamondbacks after batting back strong from injuries. He has progressed to the point of becoming the top prospect of the D’Backs, who are playing him at second base during the Arizona Fall League.

I feel bad for anyone who didn’t get to grow up watching Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez play for the Rockies.

HUGE for @ApacheBaseball1 and Southern Arizona:
Former Nogales standout pitcher Marcel Renteria, who was a New York Mets prospect who reached Triple-A before suffering a career-ending arm injury, is USC's new director of player development.
He joins another Nogales alum, Keith Zuniga, who was hired as the Trojans' pitching coach this summer.
