So, at what point did Ibo turn to Igbo?
In the 90s, every publications spelt it as Ibo & no, it wasn't a slur.
Who effect the changes & why?
I held history in my hands yesterday.
This is the West African Pilot of Tuesday, February 18, 1969. Price Three Pence. Vol XXX No 7,718.
The big story on the front page shook me:
14-Point Peace Plan To End The War
ZIK'S PROPOSAL REJECTED
Federal Government Urges Ibos To Plead With Ojukwu To Lay Down Arms.
Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the Zik of Africa, former President, had gone to Oxford University and presented a 14 point plan to end the civil war. He wanted the United Nations to step in and help stop the bloodshed.
The Federal Military Government under General Yakubu Gowon rejected it. They said they would press forward.
On the same front page, the Lagos Military Governor, Colonel Mobolaji Johnson, was warning Obas and Chiefs not to relax, because the war was not yet over.
Another story: Five Management Executive Courses to start at Lagos Varsity on February 24, 1969.
And a comment on the Ian Smith Constitution in Rhodesia.
When I read this, one thing stood out for me.
In 1969, our leaders were fighting over how to end a war. Today we are still fighting over how to build the peace they could not build then.
See how happy she was, narrating this story & attacking people in the comment to defend her friend.
One would think the "big Man" first marriage only lasted for 3years, for her to be so confident that it's working for her friend.
Pàṣán tí wọn fi nà iyale, ó ń bẹ lórí ajá.
It doesn’t always work like that oh☹️☹️
When I was working in the bank, one of my colleagues was dating a big man who happened to be one of our major customers. At the time, she still had her boyfriend so we all advised her to just chop the man’s money while maintaining her relationship. 😭
Six months into the relationship, she came to work one day and told us the man wanted to leave his wife and marry her we screamed.. We told her not to make that mistake because we were convinced that if he could leave his wife for her, he could also leave her for someone else.
She married him exactly one year into their relationship.
Fast-forward to when she had her first pregnancy, the man sponsored her to USA to have their first baby. she sent us chocolate and whenever I’m eating that chocolate, I feel like ntor 🥵😜was attached to it because imagined she listened to our advice? She for still dey do “next customer please with that red bank”
She has had her second child with the same man, got a brand-new car as a push present and her mum has travelled to the USA about five times now.
Omo, life don pass rich prince falling in love with village girl feem abeg..
Anytime I view her status, I’m always grateful that she followed her mind oh and never listen to us.
I really can't live without this.. Almost 5years doing this & introduced some people around me to it.
Make sure you don't use hot place on it. That shit spoilt my first Qasa stabiliser. I had to disconnect my kitchen socket from it & put that one direct.
Whoever advised me to get a big stabiliser and connect it to the entire apartment so that all my appliances depend on its voltage really did me a favour.
Sometimes, when there’s electricity in the area but the voltage is too low to power the AC, freezer and other appliances properly, I barely notice because everything in my apartment keeps working just fine.
The only downside is the occasional sound of the stabiliser as it regulates the voltage. Other than that, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I don’t know what such a connection is called but I love it.
Anytime I wash my car myself, it rains.
Today that I felt like "since I didn't go to work & home idle, let me do something". I washed the car under a scorching sun.
Less than 1hr later, it started raining.
This is the umpteenth time this coincidence is happening lol

Super El Niño Explanation in Yorùbá
You probably have been wondering why it's super hot these days. You've also heard about El Niño and want to know what it means for an average Nigerian. I made this easy to grasp explainer video for you, in Yorùbá Language.

So if you support Tinubu, you're paid. but if you support Obi, you Love Nigeria.
I hope you listen to the account of those ex-cultists, to know how much they made from your gullible head.

For those of you on this app supporting Tinubu, I have bookmarked your posts.✍️

Because if Tinubu gets to rule for another 4 years, God forbid, and I see you tagging people for help on this app, I will remind you that you voted for Tinubu and you should go and get every help you need from APC.

THE UNTOLD PART OF MY STORY… 👀🎓
I was the Best Graduating Student in primary school.
I was also the Best Graduating Student in secondary school.
I've always believed I would graduate with a First Class because, in my mind, becoming the Overall Best Graduating Student meant I had to earn one. That was the vision! 🎯
In 2021, while in SS2, I tried JAMB, WAEC, and NECO for the first time. I scored 225 in JAMB and secured admission into the University of Ilorin.
Then came the ASUU strike, so I returned to secondary school to continue my education. In SS3, I sat for another WAEC examination, read like crazy, and earned one A, five Bs, and three Cs.
Sometimes, I wonder what my JAMB score would have been if I'd taken it again that year. I felt I could have scored at least 280+. 😂
I brought that same energy to the @UnilorinNGR . Along the way, I learned about the possibility of having a 5.0/5.0 CGPA. I gave it my best, and God did the rest. 🙏❤️
At the beginning, I imagined becoming the Overall Best Graduating Student at 20. I eventually achieved it at 21 because of that strike.
The timing was different from what I imagined, but the vision became reality. 🏆✨

Lol! Peter is a god to Obidients.
I doubt they won't deny Jesus cos of him if they have to pick either of them
Same Obi all of us watch everytime?
Bros u don’t have any right to banter Peter obi.
If u are going to criticise his actions, do so with facts and evidence.
But bantering him, for the sake of “we banter Tinubu, wike and others” is absolute gibberish.
His name should never be mentioned with those losers unless you’ve secured corn in your pocket and if that’s the case, come out with your full chest, so that you can be addressed accordingly.
I am an APC person because of Tinubu. I'll always be an APC person as long as Tinubu is alive. Would I stop supporting the party when he's no more, that I can't say yet.
I won't fight anyone cos of Tinubu or any other politicians, but I'll always defend him when I have to.
Acknowledged
But, I'm voting Tinubu because he's a Yorùbá Man.
Everyone should vote for their candidates for whatever reasons they deem fit.
QUIT SUPPORTING TINUBU ON TRIBAL GROUNDS!

This week, I urge Nigerians to put principles and performance above ethnic considerations when they are deciding which politicians to support.
Lol! One would think Abia just gained their independence.
Who voted the past governors, me?
Otti will be criticised if there are where he's lacking.
Otti isn't a god
You're a very terrible person., and dumb too I must say.
We all know why people are always coming out to defend Otti, I mean, intelligent people know why.
Otti has been in govt for almost 4years now, we all know how terrible Abia State was before he came and he has been working. Show me one tweet where you commend him, e don reach to criticize am, you appeared.
@myabiadaily abeg tell whoever to tell Otti to fix that school
Olu Epe of Epe seat is vacant. How about your papa come contest.
Maybe that's too far. Let your father come & contest for Councillor in Ward A1 or A5 in Epe by next election year.
