To recap the CFP rankings: Alabama and Kentucky were “in the same pod,” which is why Alabama was ranked ahead of the Wildcats this week. Tennessee has beaten both of those top 10 teams by an average margin of 22 points, forced seven takeaways and allowed 16 total points.

Repeat of the Alabama loss. Score not remotely indicative of how close and winnable the game actually was. But yet another embarrassing collapse in the fourth quarter. Officiating was hot garbage, but Kentucky played and coached scared—especially disappointing coming off a bye. Tempo was infuriating, offensive line failed to hold up, head-scratching play calls, critical mistakes in the biggest moments. CFP still possible, but now have to be perfect and biggest season dreams are dead. Deflating. Bummed. Still love this team and fired up Will Stein has this program playing meaningful football in November. How it should be. Go win out and forget this stupid night. Hate Tennessee, always and forever.

Hardest places to play in College Football in 2026 via USA Today: 25. Williams-Brice Stadium (South Carolina) 17. Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (Oklahoma) 4. Kyle Field (Texas A&M) Kyle Kentucky is 3-0 this year on the road at these places. What makes Neyland any different and a “auto win” as UT fans like to say.
