Great opening session at #AIMCON2024 today with @JonColbySpeaks. Jon demonstrated the value of research and good data, supporting his points. We help organizational leaders do the same! Stop by our booth and say hello…..or be a tiger or Martian. @Remodel_Health

Last week seemed to be THE week to hold a faith-based conference in the USA. The social media posts from Christian leaders were dominated by scenes from inside hotel ballrooms. (Are they still called that?)

We are on the road this next week, participating in @daveraley's innovative one-day conference at Epcot Center. Then, we'll be attending the @MissioNexus conference in Orlando. We are looking forward to connecting with missional leaders from around the world.

On this international women's day, the entire Arbor Research Group would like to celebrate the dynamic, intelligent, and confident women who are our team members - and those who have been (and will be) our clients. The world is a better place due to their leadership.

We are thrilled to be working with @daveraley as he leads us through some "housekeeping" after a tremendous growth year. Dave brings two decades of marketing/growth experience to the table and has already launched us on a solid trajectory after our first meeting.
Not only do we have the “best in class” researchers, but our SWAG game has gotten serious too, thanks to @miir
Across rural America, independent grocery stores are shuttering. To keep its only store from joining the trend, one small town in Kansas got creative. (via @michaelwwaters) thehustle.co/the-small-town-…
In all of our studies, college graduates in the workforce want to personally/professionally develop/grow through their work. However, most feel that their bosses are more interested in their productiveness and considerably less about their personal growth.

The economy/inflation has presented a challenge to businesses & #nonprofits and their employees. With the employment squeeze there is pressure to give raises of 8-10% just to keep up with rising costs. Merit #raises will need to be >10%.
According to Indeed research, 25% of the labor force is 55 years old or older. And immigration (the only way the USA population is growing and that was 0.1% last year), is 27% of 2015 levels. The future employment environment will be challenging for employers.
In much of the research that we read and do, flexibility is becoming a more prominent value for people when it comes to work and education. Leadership and work structures that pivot on control and automation will increasingly struggle to find and retain talent in the future.
Happy 7th birthday to us! What an amazing year it has been and we are anticipating many more. We are just getting started serving executives of nonprofits and mission-driven businesses.
