On this day 5 years ago the Grangegorman playground opened to the community for the first time. It has become a key feature of the campus since then!

Twitter hive! Anyone know any Irish artists working with light/lighting installations? Slim pickings on Google for Irish artists. Doing some research for a project. Thank you!

Well this is FAB, seeing our community working together & making pollinators a priority. Over 70 signed up so far, with particular thanks to people including Kaethe, Sadhbh, Louise, Seaneen, Liz & DCC’s Greening Stoneybatter team for their dedication & enthusiasm & support.
The Stoneybatter community, in Dublin city, have done an
amazing job working with all sectors in their community to
help pollinators. So far 70 sites have signed up to help pollinators in Stoneybatter. #WorldBeeDay2020 #AllIrelandPollinatorPlan #lovenature

#BuildingIreland had some great footage of Dublin Airport. This one really stood out. During WW2 they’d to stop working on the construction of it as people were needed to work the land for food. Took photo of the footage from the tv so it’s not great but it tells a great story.

We've made our BusConnects submission!
"We urge the NTA to reconsider the present traffic management proposals for the area, to be brave and to go further in reallocating space from private car priority towards sustainable and active modes."

Stoneybatter is working to become ever more pollinator-friendly, and as part of that initiative a group will be planting bulbs tomorrow Saturday, meeting at 10am at Bi Urban on Manor Street.
