The challenge is not putting a bond on a blockchain. The challenge is putting a regulated financial asset on a public network without breaking the legal, privacy, identity and settlement guarantees that make the asset investible in the first place.

I was pleased to be included in William Mills Agency’s Q3 2026 Bankers as Buyers™ Research Highlight & Expert Panel.
This edition looks at research on U.S. small business owners and how their priorities, challenges, and banking behaviors differ across revenue levels.
For banks, understanding those differences matters.
The way a small business evaluates its banking relationship often changes as the business grows, and those changes create different opportunities for financial institutions.
I appreciated the opportunity to contribute an industry perspective alongside the research and share some of what I have learned from working with financial institutions over the years.
The full Q3 research highlight is available below.
54% of small business owners say they will not change providers in the next 6 months, leaving nearly half the market in play. Stephen Curry of Endurance Advisory Partners explains what's driving that risk and what FIs can do to keep those relationships. hubs.ly/Q04vmNyT0

More than decades of building. One place to find it all.
My new website is officially live with the help of @Arc3venture — jaysmith.me 🌐
I've spent 40+ years at the intersection of enterprise technology and decentralized systems. From building financial infrastructure for large-scale organizations, to launching blockchain protocols, to now leading governance for AI agents in enterprise stacks — every chapter has been about one thing: making complex systems trustworthy.
The next era of technology won't be defined by speed alone.
It will be defined by trust, security, and transparency.
That's what I'm building toward. Every day.
On the site you'll find:
→ What I'm working on (@Genialt, @accumulatehq Protocol, and more)
→ My thinking on blockchain governance, AI oversight, and enterprise identity
→ Articles, keynotes, and ways we can work together
If you're an innovator, an investor, or an enterprise leader navigating the decentralized future, this is where the conversation starts.
Go take a look. And if something resonates, let's talk. 👇

Rules that live in code become tribal knowledge.
@paulsnx2 built DTRules to change that.
Readable. Auditable. Open-source.

I got featured in BFM Times where they explored my journey, from early days in computing and building foundational systems to where my work has evolved today.
Looking back, it’s interesting how each phase built on the last.
From writing low-level code and working on rule-based systems… to eventually contributing to ideas that intersect with cryptography and digital infrastructure.
It’s never been a straight path.
More of a continuous process of learning, adapting, and following curiosity into new domains.
Grateful to see that journey being captured and shared.

Great Initiative.
If you are Founder and building something exciting reach out to Stephen. He is investing $25K.
I’ve spent nearly three decades inside financial systems.
Seen institutions expand, fracture, and rebuild.
After that long inside complex systems, you start asking a different question:
What’s next? And where can experience actually matter?
I’ve decided to work with a small number of early-stage founders not only as an investor, but as an advisor.
Areas I care about:
• Web3 infrastructure — stablecoins, neo-banking, asset management
• Privacy tech — ZK, FHE, MPC
• AI applied to financial systems
• Healthcare & insurance innovation
• Banking & FinTech
These aren’t trends to me.
They’re extensions of problems I’ve studied for decades: incentives, governance, capital structure, resilience.
I’m open to investing up to $25K and committing 4–6 hours per week in an advisory role.
A few boundaries:
No idea-stage concepts.
No pre-revenue pitch decks.
No founders looking for capital alone.
If you’re building something real with traction and want someone who understands how systems behave under pressure, we can talk.
Serious builders only.

Finally, someone is calling out the technical negligence behind the AI hype machine instead of just romanticizing it.
Paul’s upcoming breakdown is a must-read for anyone concerned about how "reckless architecture" is compromising real-world security.
Do check it out!
We need to talk about the "Clawdbot" situation.
I lost my wallet. I lost my money. And I’m furious.
It wasn't a direct "hack" by a bot, but it was the inevitable result of the AI hype machine, specifically the reckless architecture of things like Clawdbot.
While everyone else is busy romanticising "AI manifestos" and treating "social networks for bots" like the dawn of a new species, real people are paying the price. We’re watching smart minds fall for a roleplay while their security is being dismantled in the background.
The Full Breakdown is Coming I’m currently finalising a deep dive into why this specific architecture is a disaster waiting to happen.
If you want to understand the technical negligence behind the hype, you won't want to miss this.
Stay tuned, my full breakdown drops in Paul's POV soon.

Most people talk about “growth.”
Very few talk about what actually makes growth survivable.

I’ve submitted the @alliance application again.
I applied to Alliance last year. I got rejected.
What’s new?
I didn’t treat the application as a checkpoint.
I treated it as an opportunity to rethink how I tell my story.
Somewhere between answering questions and rewriting paragraphs, I realised something important:
My journey hasn’t changed overnight, but the way I understand and articulate it has.
This time, I genuinely enjoyed the process.
One hurdle stayed the same.
Recording my intro video.
It took me almost 1 week to submit the application.
Not because the questions were hard, but because speaking about myself on camera was.
I recorded 10 videos before settling on one that felt honest, not perfect.
One clear takeaway for me as a founder:
We need to create more video content.
Still building. Still learning.

The "World Computer" AKA @ethereum is Fragmenting. The Solution isn't More Silos, It's Orchestration.
Vitalik recent roadmap is a technical marvel for throughput, but an architectural surrender on composability. He is solving the "Bandwidth" leg of the trilemma by fracturing the global state into isolated partitions (ZK-EVMs).
The industry calls this "Modular Scaling." We call it Institutional Gridlock.
We are trading a slow, unified computer for a thousand fast, disconnected calculators.
Here is why Orchestration (via CERTEN) is the necessary answer.
1. The Real Bottleneck: The EVM’s "Original Sin"
The root issue isn't data availability; it’s the Global State. The EVM cannot effectively partition namespaces, so true parallelisation is impossible without conflicts. Vitalik’s "fix", splitting the network into L2 silos, kills the "Money Lego" composability that made DeFi valuable. For an enterprise, this means managing different wallets and bridges for every partition.
2. The Pivot: Identity as Partition
While others patch this with "Shared Sequencers," Certen acts as the Universal Connector. We solve the namespace problem natively via ADIs (Accumulate Digital Identifiers). Every entity (e.g., `corporation.acme`) is its own shard. This allows infinite scalability without a bottleneck.
A transaction becomes a Workflow: An ADI orchestrates the action (Identity, Compliance, Signatures) and writes a proof to the target chain (Ethereum, Solana) to execute.
3. Solving the "Trust Premium"
Regulated assets (RWAs) cannot exist in anonymous "distributed builder marketplaces." Certen uses Segregated On-Chain Accounts and Protocol-Native Governance. Compliance rules are baked into the chain, not fragile smart contracts.
The Verdict:
Vitalik built a faster engine but dismantled the road. The answer isn't better bridges; it’s an Orchestration Layer above the fragments.
The World Computer is dead. Long live the World Controller.
