We decided years ago we wouldn't launch a #Cardano Native Token unless we had an actual application for it.
We're getting close to a beta release of that application so we're hoping our PR to a certain Github repo gets accepted!

Made a demo for MotionBricks running 100% in your browser.
You steer a robot, change its walking style or approach an obstacle. The app turns that into target poses, and the model uses its recent poses to generate the motion connecting them.
It outputs 3D joint motion, runs locally on your CPU.

Armbian Imager v2.5 is out! 🚀
Setting up a board without a screen just got easier.
Answer a few questions about networking, user accounts, SSH keys, language, and time zone. Imager catches mistakes as you type: invalid static IPs, username typos, or SSH keys it couldn't fetch from GitHub or GitLab.
Find out before flashing, not after your first failed login.
Before writing, Imager double-checks the target drive to help prevent accidentally overwriting the wrong disk. You can also cancel at any stage.
There's more: a new Settings page, clearer error messages, and 🇬🇷 Greek and 🇷🇸 Serbian translations, bringing the total to 20 languages.
Free and open source. Available for Linux, macOS, and Windows.

thinking about using this place more for the actual methodology and writeups instead of just dropping the findings.

sub is $3 if the deeper stuff is useful. what would you actually want to see in that domain?
thank you to the elite human capital who subscribed not knowing what i’d do with it, i randomly got it enabled yesterday.

AMD Zen 6 (r) actually targets 7.0 GHz
First off, both Intel Nova Lake & AMD Zen 6 are both on TSMC N2P. So, both of them are expected to top out at 6.0 - 6.2 GHz (approx). Cos, Fmax of TSMC N2P HP cells is expected to be around 6.0 - 6.2 GHz.
Next:
Zen 6 refresh -> 6.8 GHz
Razor Lake -> 6.5 GHz
This is where it gets interesting. Zen 6 has a refresh on TSMC N2X, and expected to launch next year end (Q4 2027).
Interesting part is, N2X has +10% *higher* Fmax compared to current N2P HP according to TSMC. This means, the theoretical peak frequency for Zen 6 refresh is 6.82 GHz (assuming the current gen Zen 6 N2P HP maxes out at 6.2 GHz).
Nova Lake's successor launching next year end (Q4 2027) alongside Zen 6 refresh is Razor Lake. And Razor Lake doesn't enjoy the same benefits of +10% Fmax like Zen 6 refresh.
Razor Lake is reportedly using N2P v2 with an upgraded UHP library that's expected to offer lower Fmax gains (roughly +5% only). That's lower than Zen 6 refresh, and RZL's theoretical peak frequency should be roughly around 6.5 GHz only.
Based on reports on N2X & N2P v2, RZL CPU tiles should enter manufacturing a few months before Zen 6 refresh CPU tiles. But, when the finished products reach shelf is a different subject entirely.
So, Zen 6 is not targeting 7.0 GHz, Zen 6 refresh is!!!
Zen 6 refresh appears to be a very formidable upgrade. What do you think?
(Note: I also saw AMD slides that confirm the same.)

In most cases, multisig would be sufficient for "daos" (onchain cooperatives), with most of economic activity done offchain eg via a community currency
SOMEONE BORROWED $1.9M, BOUGHT A DAO'S GOVERNMENT WITH IT, VOTED TO HAND HIMSELF THE TREASURY, AND PAID THE LOAN BACK IN THE SAME TRANSACTION. $4.85M GONE. TOKEN -96%.
I TRACED WHERE IT WENT IN 34 SECONDS
this happened 3 days ago. the money moved again yesterday.
I pasted one address into tracehound.
34 seconds later I was looking at the cleanest heist of the month. and the dumbest getaway.
the "code is law" crowd will hate this. the "DAOs are decentralized" crowd will hate it more.
let me show you how bad it is
> THE GOVERNMENT HAD 3 SEATS
X100 ran its treasury through a "Senate".
three seats. majority wins.
so the attacker took a flash loan of ~1.94M USDT from Aave, bought X, and spun up helper contracts.
two of three seats. bought. in one transaction.
democracy, speedrun edition.
> THE "VOTE"
with the majority, the treasury does what the Senate says.
the Senate said: sell ~400,000 X into a pool the attacker built himself.
an empty pool. his pool.
the X token fell 96%.
> HE PAID $50 FOR THE GETAWAY CAR
14:05:59 UTC: 0.021 ETH lands in the attacker wallet. about $50 of gas.
from FixedFloat, an instant swap service.
a $4.85M heist, started with a fifty.
> 13 MINUTES
14:16:35: 4,749,726 USDT goes into a swap.
it comes out as 2,022.86 ETH.
14:18:59: all of it moves to ONE new wallet, 0x8296…42e5.
13 minutes from gas to clean ETH.
> THEN HE SPLIT IT LIKE A SPREADSHEET
three wallets.
400.5 ETH.
400.5 ETH.
400.5 ETH.
not 398. not 403. 400.5. three times.
> 46 HOURS OF SILENCE
then nothing. almost two days.
he's waiting for the timeline to forget.
> YESTERDAY: TORNADO
13:09 UTC. the main wallet starts feeding Tornado Cash.
20 deposits in 37 minutes.
420.8 ETH into the mixer.
so let's recap:
> borrowed the votes
> voted himself the treasury
> paid the loan back before the block ended
> $50 of gas from an instant swap
> 3 × 400.5 ETH
> 46 hours of silence, then 20 Tornado deposits in 37 minutes
now read this twice:
A FLASH LOAN LETS YOU BORROW A MAJORITY.
IT DOESN'T LET YOU BORROW A NEW TRAIL.
the gas source. the split. the timing. the mixer.
it's all on-chain. public. permanent.
and it took 34 seconds to pull it out.
9 wallets. 8 flows. 3 findings.
if your DAO votes with a token anyone can borrow for one block...
who actually runs your DAO?
that's tracehound.
paste an address. watch them run.
drop a hack from this week. I'll trace it live.
