Here's an excerpt from last week's chat with John Puccio; in this five-minute clip, he tells us why the GOP Bloodbath and/or Blue Tsunami was likely. youtu.be/UiejKZhOXXs

Guys. Why are we pretending that Rubio wasn't talking about this at the beginning of March??
Wow. Senator John Kennedy. How is this not everywhere. Seriously. This is insane. Listen to what he’s actually saying.

The problem, as I see it right now, is that the most-likely Democratic candidates to survive the primary are not the same ones that could win the general against an average GOP candidate. AOC would possibly get trounced in the general. BUT is a possible frontrunner for the nominee. I don't see Ossoff surviving the Abdul El-Qaeda wing of the Dems.
I’m perplexed that this guy is the Great White Hope of the Democratic Party. He absolutely feels stale and dated - I really don’t think Dems want another ‘Obama’ much less a Jewish one. The only demographic I see him appealing too is middle aged ‘moderates’ who are delusional about what the Democratic Party actually stands for in 2026.

Speaking of chili, this is one of the best I've ever had; neighbor made it once and it was literally outstanding. (One of the 8000 reasons we stan @GuyFieri as this is Mayor of Flavortown approved.) foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-…

There is nothing like a well-delivered one-liner. Ex: Lou Holtz was asked what he thought about the "Catholics vs. Convicts" narrative in the Notre Dame-Miami rivlary. Holtz: "I don't like it. Not all our players are Catholic."

I watched Russell Brand @rustyrockets on the @jimmyfallon show the other night—what the hell do people see in Russell—a major loser!

Outstanding analysis from John Z. This was a RIVALRY. Winner won the national title in 1988 and 1989.
There are a lot of comparisons between Saturday’s “big” Miami/Notre Dame game with the iconic 1988 version of he rivalry, but any objective analysis of the two games shows just how much better the sport was in 1988… -Then, the loser was likely eliminated from national championship contention, while the winner ended up winning it all. Now, neither team will be eliminated with a loss, and one of them can easily lose and not have it impact their national title hopes. -Then, the game was played a storied grass field. Now, ND plays in astroturf so they can host concerts. -Then, the players chose their school based on something about the school/team/coach/tradition/history/location. Now, they do so based on the highest bidder. -Then, ND classic helmets didn’t have the “golden dome” disrupted by safety spaces on the surface. Now, the players barely wear padding and often wear literal shorts. -Then, you had virtual certitude (especially at ND) that your players were playing at least 3 years, and very likely 4. Now, players are highly unlikely to play 4 years at the same school, and can/do easily leave after only 1. -Then, at least several members (and definitely the two team’s very famous coaches) of each team were household names to even casual football fans. Now, that’s not the case. -Then, there was almost a fight before the game and Lou Holtz told his team in the locker room to “Save Jimmy Johnson’s ass for me!” Now, if anything remotely that interesting happens (it won’t) there would be firings. -Then, the game was broadcast by Brent Musburger, an iconic voice who was synonymous with big games and creating real drama. Now, most of the audience won’t even be able to tell who the announcer is by the sound of his voice. -Then, the opening of the broadcast was epic (below). Now, they don’t even try to do dramatic opens like this one because we are in the “post-romance” era of “college” football.

One of the things I thought of, after reading this post from @ericweinstein and watching the video with @SenJohnKennedy , is that, for a while, we did hear about Iran being able to strike London with a missile... And, all of a sudden, we didn't hear about that at all.
Q: "How do you say 'London' in Farsi?" A: "Diego Garcia." ---- Forget this joke at your peril. You were never being anti-war. You just weren't thinking about this hard-headedly enough. Complain all you like about 'Forever Wars' or show off being 'Anti-War'. Fine. But deep down, you hopefully know that there was never an "anti-war" option on the table.

Yes, exactly this.
Remember when the left eviscerated Mike Pence for choosing to not dine alone with another woman, other than his wife? 🤨 They acted like he was some kind of weird religious freak for his personal convictions on the matter. But they are silent about the religious subservience of Abdul’s wife. Hypocrites.

There used to be a slur, aimed at Jewish women, that was actually banned on the University of Michigan campus. That's right, you could get into big trouble if you called a woman a "Jap." (This was late 80s, not sure when that rule went away.)

Turns out all the violence you were expecting from The Right after the Midterms... Is being fomented by The Left. "Oh, they're not actually calling for violence" will be the response. Like Scott Galloway wasn't actually calling for Elon Musk to be executed like the Rosenbergs, except he was talking about how the Rosenbergs were traitors and we need to treat traitors like we treated the Rosenbergs.

22 of the 38 Texas Congressional districts have gone to the GOP; 14 are Dems, and two have yet to be called.
