My SS is on for about 7-8 minutes. Gives me time to get water if i havenโt already, use the bathroom, and let my first set of ads play before i start.
If you're a small streamer, this is true
Imagine This: Your viewer gets a notification that you went live, Clicks it, Then is disappointed to get hit with a 5 min (or longer) Starting Soon screen
They'll leave.
Large streamers can do long 'Starting Soon' scenes because their audience will actually sit through it (they've built a strong community over years)
When youโre smaller, you donโt have that pull yet.. It's better to just get straight into the stream

im really sorry for having to end stream abruptly.. we just got news that my grandmother has entered her final stages and will probably be passing within the next 2 weeks...
we have been expecting this since last year and it's incredible that she's lasted so long.
hallorene will probably end up getting cut short as when it does happen we will be traveling for her funeral.
ill be okay, ill be taking the rest of the day off and i hope to be better tomorrow. just very sudden news i need today to just process.
