The thing is I also uncovered this week that the union has failed so incredibly to transition to virtual communication that nobody with less than 10yrs experience even knows what they do. I'm potentially the only person who can right this ship at a politically critical time.
Most of my colleagues have only done a 3yr rn degree. They have never taken a philosophy course. They don't know anything about unions. They do not know how politically significant our job is about to become. So I feel obligated to help even if I'm pulled into unrelated drama.
