Pacific Racing & R'Qs Motorsports will have a different line up for the 2 races in Motegi.
Rintaro Kubo will take over from Yuta Fujiwara for the Round 3 race. Fujiwara will return to Round 8.
While Masaki Jyonai race in Round 3 & Yuma Shoji in Round 8. Both each race alongside Masaki Kano.

SUPER GTを運営するGTアソシエイションは、777号車Dステーションレーシング(アストンマーティン・ヴァンテージ)の藤井誠暢が、ペナルティポイント10点を超過したとしてもてぎ大会の出場停止を発表しました。
藤井は前戦オートポリス大会の決勝終了後に、第1コーナーで7号車カーガイレーシング(フェラーリ296)に追突。この行為が、『GTAドライビング・モラルハザード防止制度』の『威圧的、攻撃的意図をもつ接触行為』と『報復行為』に該当し、ペナルティポイントが10点加算されたためです。1つの事案でペナルティポイントが10点が加算されたのは異例です。
これにより、もてぎ大会のAドライバーは近藤翼が担当します。
藤井は、昨年の菅生大会でもコースアウトからのコース復帰の際、他車に危険を及ぼす行為で2点加算されていました。

The drivers for the White Rabbit 911 GT3 Evo of Absolute Racing will be Alessio Picariello and British GT race winner Kevin Tse.
Picariello returns to Absolute after mostly raced with Origine in the past years. This will be preparation for the Macau GP.

📢 Toyota's new GR GT3 is making its long-awaited race debut at the #SUPERGT Motegi doubleheader finale!
Announced by the team today, Rookie Racing will enter the Bridgestone-clad GR GT3 concept, driven by Hiroaki Ishiura and Tokiya Suzuki, in the GT300 class under special permission ahead of its global launch in 2027. The GTA can exceptionally accept cars to enter the class with the BoP determined by the GTA.
The special permission entails that the team won't be eligible for championship points or prizes even in the case of a win.
The announcement comes following a shakedown at Fuji Speedway earlier this month. The team used a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo until now. Rumors suggesting that the Akio Toyoda-owned team would be the first to race Toyota's new GT3 challenger go back to January, when they announced their participation in GT300.
Rookie Racing will not collect points, as the new GR GT3 Concept will not carry any ballast bop. #SuperGT
Rookie Racing will be the first team to debut the GR GT3 official race. They will race in the 2 final rounds at Motegi. Rookie Racing has raced majority of the season with the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo.
The Eneos Rookie car will be called ENEOS X PRIME GR GT3 CONCEPT.

As announced by Manabu Orido himself, Motegi will be the last race for him. Orido will replace Hiroaki Nagai and will race alongside Hibiki Taira. #SuperGT
Manabu “Max” Orido has announced that he will retire from Super GT at the end of season. The Motegi round will be his final race in this series. Orido has raced in the series from 1997 under the JGTC name. 8 years in GT500 & around 20 years in the GT300 with 2 titles.

The changes are due to the accident from the last Autopolis round, where Tomonobu Fujii claimed to deliberate for driven into Zak O’Sullivan’s CarGuy MKS car on the cooldown lap after, where the Ferrari found to be spinned afterwards.
