Not sure whether to eat the dinner I just bought from Tesco or report it to the police.
A smacked cucumber poke?

What an utterly spellbinding show by @ProfBrianCox last night in Glasgow. Magnificent, and awe inspiring about how much and little we know about our universe . Left with magnificent phrase ‘the vulgarity of certainty’.
This is so cool.
Marvel called. Ruaridh Mollica answered.
The Scottish actor joins the MCU in VisionQuest and tells Anne McAlpine why it's all still a bit surreal.

How Alexei Sayle's Stuff was never nominated for, let alone won, a BAFTA, is beyond me! Won everywhere else. International Emmy, Broadcasting Press Guild, Royal Television Society. Time for this comedy classic to get a BBC4 repeat run.
Absolutely loving the updated #Carrie as @StephenKing must have imagined and approved it. Fabulous casting. Brilliant new plot avenues.
I love and remember this SO well. Check out how much heavy lifting the female vocalist is doing to make this work.

Happy 80th Birthday to the P/S Waverley. Launched on the 2nd of October 1946 at the A. & J. Inglis shipyard in Glasgow, she's the last sea-going passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. This was her heading down the Clyde close to Dumbuck in 2024.

I recall many excellent Scottish BAFTA nights that words spoken from the stage, not even the audience, would make John feel very much amongst likeminded souls.
After "I Swear" scored seven BAFTA Scotland nominations, the British Academy has said Tourette's campaigner John Davidson will watch the ceremony "via video link from a separate relaxed space within the venue."
BAFTA and Davidson were at the center of controversy in February when he involuntarily shouted a racial slur at the Film Awards. variety.com/2026/film/global…
