If you aren’t adding goat cheese, pumpkin seeds, and sriracha to your guacamole, you are missing out….

Thrilled to be heading to ASA for the first time! 🎉 As a @UABSociology grad student, I'm looking forward to soaking in all the insights and connecting with fellow sociologists. Airport selfie to kick off this exciting journey! 🛫 @ASAnews @ASAMedSoc #ASA2023 #SociologyAdventures

Tried a watermelon revelation this week: hubby's precision cubing > my hot mess "shapes" all summer! I've officially passed the cubing torch, folks! His geometry game is on point! Each cube radiates summer vibes like never before. #CubeMagic #WatermelonUpgrade

In class today, expect a wild mix of caffeine-induced enthusiasm, a touch of sleepiness, & a generous serving of grumpiness. My brain's on its own unpredictable adventure, & I have no clue what words will escape my mouth. #SleepyGrump

I’m off to teach a rising toddler bad things... If I ever have children, I deserve the most sarcastic, boundary pushing, loud, contrary bear offspring ever.

🔍😅 #PhDlife: I'm starting to think I have a serious addiction...to my data! 📊🤓 It's gotten to the point where I could practically move in and spend my days exploring, asking questions, and unraveling the mysteries it holds! 😅🔬 #DataObsessed #GradStudentStruggles

What I’ve learned this week while traveling (non conference related): 1. I can sniff out the newest trendiest restaurant in the city 2. I can still do the two-step 3. Cult leaders find me both intriguing and irritating 4. Extraverting isn’t as tiring as it use to be #storytime

It might have taken me 6 hours to work through the submission portal, but I’ve just submitted a first-author paper to a major journal in the field of healthcare quality & safety! #AcademicTwitter

I would like to formally introduce you to the human sleep cycle disrupter mafia.

If their pay was taken away, how fast do you think the #HouseofRepresentatives would come to a consensus? #Speakerofthehousevote #2023Congress

When the husband is away, it’s time to eat all the bread! #eatlocal #pepperplacemaeket

Thank you @Delta for reminding me why you are my family’s preferred domestic airline. You saved the day again! @AmericanAir do better….

Let’s talk about language #AcademicTwitter… Can we please start normalizing “academic team” like we do “care team”? It is malarkey that we constantly use hierarchal phrasing like “faculty & staff” and “junior vs senior faculty”. Inclusive language matters. #Academia #highered

It was a blast to collaborate with @michelleSBB and share how we have integrated #simulation best practices with our @ASAHPDC colleagues this afternoon.

Excited to be contributing to the new @AUPHA Art of Teaching Institute (ATI) with a #casebasedlearning workshop. Zac Pruitt and I will be provides tips and tricks for applying the #casemethod to all learning modalities. #innovation #teaching #onlineclasses

Its a beautiful day on #UAB campus. The hustle and bustle of students on campus sparks joy. @UABSociology @UAB_CAS

It’s more important than ever to #vote in local and state elections.

Perspective from the tiny humans… take a read, you won’t regret it. #belikethem
