If you're curious, Dr Eggman, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, Blaze, Metal Sonic, Jet, Chip, Yacker, Ariem, Dodon Pa, Omochao, Infinite, and Fang's Sonic Channel bios all mention their relationships with Sonic. Amy's doesn't even mention him once anymore

The worst about removing Amy’s feeling for Sonic from her character is just how vapid any attempts to plaster over part of her character feels. Like I’m sorry, Amy is was made with Sonic in mind, it is LITERALLY a core aspect of her character.

I don’t know why they act ashamed of the fact that Amy was made with Sonic in mind. Imagine the outrage that would follow if Tails has every mention of Sonic and their relationship removed.
