They just never really recovered after that Damian Priest incident. Brutus landing on his head. Julius kicking out at 3.1 to Priest’s finisher in the exact same match. And Rey Mysterio getting hurt just before Mania. Feels like the office just stopped giving them any opportunities to have a chance at a revival. So much wasted potential.
