Time to update my pinned post, just because this selfie makes me very happy. (Monku View Point on @hermisland, 26 July 2022 at 11PM. 2s exposure on @SonyAlpha 6600 with Samyang 12mm f2 lens, pushed to ISO 10000, just reprocessed with @Lightroom’s amazing AI noise reduction.)

The shadow culture secretary wants to stop funding the arts, because her party underinvested in prisons for decades.
We will cut the arts & culture budget by £1bn in order to fund 50,000 prison places. Keeping rapists and other dangerous offenders locked up is a priority for the @Conservatives. We will always put community safety first. @RichmoMusic If you need help understanding the numbers, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Always happy to talk you through. thetimes.com/article/77bcee1…

But a lovely view across to Mary Magdalene Church and the River Trent in Newark (13 miles away).

How did all the birds know that I hadn’t bothered to bring my proper camera to Gedling Country Park this morning?

I think this might be quite interesting. 100 minutes is a long slot for this investigative journalism programme (usually 60-80 mins), and previous episodes have been produced by Hardcash productions, who, together with ITV, Reform UK seem upset about.
