Working on editing an image today of a supernova remnant I discovered with a friend! It is almost 3 degrees long which makes it bigger than the andromeda Galaxy in angular size

Showcasing the B&C telescope situated at Mount John Observatory, a 61cm RC usually operated at F6.25. It's a student favourite because it takes the best photos off all the telescopes at the observatory, while also being the easiest to use.

I spent some time today post processing level 3 calibrated #JWST MIRI data. Was incredibly interesting and fun to work with.
