🚨 Lázaro Montes will not play for the Gigantes del Cibao in LIDOM this season.
👉 A very reliable source told me that the young Cuban slugger will spend the winter working on aspects of his game and preparing for next season.
💥 Montes made his Major League debut with the Seattle Mariners this season, showcasing his power with four home runs in just 52 at-bats. Among those blasts was a 470-foot shot, the longest home run in MLB this season.
👉 Although Dominican fans will have to wait to see him in a Gigantes uniform, this winter will give him an opportunity to refine his game and pursue a bigger role with Seattle.
