I'm watching Crash Landing on You for the first time (i know, i know). It's so good. But maybe the most interesting thing about the series is it's depiction of North Korea. I obviously have no grounds to stand on nor do I have information. But so far, it doesn't seem to be bad.

Of course there are covert ways to propagate propaganda and critique but for the most part, it doesn't feel like the show is trying to do that.

North Korea is an entirely enigmatic country to most of us so I have no sources from which to pull but I imagine it's more complicated than certain countries would have us believe.

I don't like when small kindnesses, especially relationships (friendship/partners) are called basic or bare minimum. It minimises how beautiful care is in the small details.

I like when my friends send me an an article they think I'd love. I feel good when my partner takes my suitcase when we're traveling. A lot of things are mundane, but them being done by people who love you deserves more than "bare minimum".

No like it's an emergency. Grateful for what NHF does. Honestly. But inna dem day and age yah me can't even pay the remainder cause I'm too mentally ill and I take a bunch of high dosage things.
