Just got an email saying Google Assistant is being fully replaced by Gemini in September. I am furious. I literally only use that shit to set timers for cooking and when it force switched me a couple of months ago, it didn't even do that right and I switched back immediately.

He currently has a project named ‘Punky Duck’ through Amazon MGM’s GenAI Creators’ Fund, an initiative aimed at giving creators access to professional-grade AI tools and funding for cinematic entertainment.

This reminds me of those pictures of @AndyKimNJ helping pick up garbage after the January 6th riots, seemingly well after everyone other than service staff and local LEOs had left the Capitol complex.
Mamdani has that sort’ve innate recognition that he ‘serves’ the office and its constituents, not the other way around, and that strikes me as the Democratic ideal.
