I was part of a great research study in residency that did BP checks at pedi visits because while only ~60% of women go to their 6 wk postpartum visit, almost all go to the baby’s. We identified many women with postpartum HTN and pre-eclampsia so the answer should be yes!

💡 Couldn’t be reached endoscopically on retrograde pyelogram
🔧 Solution: Retroperitoneal nephrolithotomy into a dilated calyx for extraction
