A current expedition to the Titanic just found the bronze statue of the Goddess Diana, which once sat on the mantle piece of the first class lounge. It was last seen in 1985, shortly after the wreck was discovered.

The Titanic's Marconi telegraph broke four days into its maiden voyage. The very expensive equipment was only supposed to be fixed by qualified technicians, but the wireless operators did a DIY fix. If they followed company rules, Titanic probably would've sank with no survivors

This type of building is called a folly. A decorative building with no real purpose. Usually built to show off wealth. Here's one of my favourite folly buildings, the Dunmore pineapple in Scotland.

A popular fact on the internet says the human brain doesn't mature until 25. This is an inaccurate understanding of an outdated study. Brains often continue to change structurally well past 30. The actual impact these changes have on behaviour (if any) isn't well understood.
