youtu.be/mxfSMcNP_HQ New Video! This video is a deep dive into the life of Jack Parsons--pioneer chemist, rocket scientist, and practitioner of the occult--whose sudden and unexpected end at the age of 37 left many lingering questions.

Almost an hour of runtime for the upcoming video is completed. There’s still a bit of the story left to tell, but I’m nearing the home stretch. I can’t wait to share it with you all. 💚

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, a college professor and self-proclaimed Zen master accumulated a loyal following of meditation students, taking them across the United States on a mission to achieve Enlightenment. It did not go well. youtu.be/urMxgevzd4c

In 1978, two South Korean filmmakers--Director Shin Sang-ok and his star actress and ex-wife, Choi Eun-hee--were abducted and smuggled into North Korea in order to revolutionize the country's dying film industry. The Kidnapped Filmmakers of North Korea youtu.be/BDOZIcUfcEg

I’m a little late with this announcement, but I’m very grateful.💚 The next video is on its way, where I'll be exploring another subculture/fringe movement. This one’s pretty morally gray compared to some we’ve previously looked into, but no less dramatic. More updates soon!

In 1980, Yuri Norstein and Francheska Yarbusova began production on a beautiful stop-motion film called The Overcoat. After 40 years, the film remains unfinished, and The Overcoat has taken the record for longest animation production of all time. youtu.be/73hip3pz0Xs

I think you all will enjoy @channelserfer1. Similar in presentation to my channel, but with an emphasis on obscure and defunct media. This video is a good introduction: youtu.be/KchUqrORh-4

In 2008, independent developer Robert Pelloni revealed a game he’d been making for the past 5 years: Bob’s Game. In an attempt to get it published by the company he’s idolized since childhood, Pelloni embarks on a self-sabotaging quest for recognition. youtu.be/A47maEySTdI

The video that the Breatharian community really doesn’t want you to see is finally back online! A big thank you to everyone who helped bring it back, whether it was advice, retweets, or encouragement.💚 youtu.be/WWRniMqhr00

In 1965, John C. Lilly and Margaret Howe attempted to bridge the interspecies communication gap by teaching dolphins English. Their methods, as bizarre as the objective itself, has been the subject of fascination, ridicule, and hero worship ever since. youtu.be/UziFw-jQSks

In 2013, Naveena Shine documented her attempt to become a breatharian—someone claiming to survive solely on air and light. Breatharianism has operated in the fringes of the new age for years, with its history of fraudulent gurus, humiliation, and death. youtu.be/WWRniMqhr00

Beginning in the late 1980s, a man who went by the name “Sir Alfred” lived on a red bench inside a pre-departures terminal of Charles de Gaulle international airport in Paris for eighteen years. To this day, no one is sure why. youtu.be/JQfXd1YlkS4 via @YouTube

In the last decade, Seattle saw a group of real life superheroes patrolling their streets, led by the controversial Phoenix Jones. This story chronicles their tumultuous beginning, all the way to their shocking end. youtu.be/F8CkDrhZw14 via @YouTube
