I personally think that Roxy is a Magic Winx fairy, and my headcanon is that the appearance of a fairy’s base transformation can be influenced by certain factors like: • the types and levels of magic they are exposed to • what their perception/definition of a fairy actually is

the new winx artbook confirms that Roxy isn't a believix fairy, she was always supposed to be a base fairy and her first design makes it clear her final design looks like a Believix fairy only for some marketing reasons

The first design is honestly so perfect. The second alongside the first's skirt and boots kinda look like they wanted Roxy to look like Mirta or smth 😭 they knew she should have been part of the club.

Also not that we needed more prove but another confirmation she is magic Winx, her first design has magic Winx wings (not even remotely similar to Believix prototypes) and her outfit is base level 100% plus the way is coloured and the sparkles.
