When people ask what I do for work, I usually say it’s giving MLB players Oreos.

All smiles for Klay in SF after his OT buzzer-beater last night. He’s turned back the clock with 74 points in his last 3 games for Miami.

The Warriors didn't win five straight games once last season, and now they've won five in a row after starting 0-3. What's different with this group? STEPH CURRY: "I mean, Yax. BP [Podziemski] taking another step forward."

The greatest shooter ever started the season 51-of-51 from the free throw line until he missed his first one in the final seconds tonight. Was he shocked? STEPH CURRY: "I'm shocked when I miss any time." 😏

Asked Steve Kerr if he’s surprised by the way Yaxel Lendeborg has complemented Steph as the Warriors’ No. 2 option only fives games in to the season.
KNBR (@KNBR) profile pictureKNBR

"It was pretty obvious after our first couple of games that we needed to make sure Yaxel understood he was our No. 2 option." It didn't take Steve Kerr long to realize that Yaxel Lendeborg would be the go-to guy on offense after Steph, and he knows the ball is coming to him.

Your yearly reminder that Travis Ishikawa launched a walk-off 3-run homer to win the pennant on this day. One of, if not the greatest, home runs in Giants history.

Steph Curry on no one expecting the Warriors to make the playoffs is pure comedy 😂 "That's how bad it is — to make the playoffs?! It went from championship to playoffs?!" (leaves the podium) "PLAYOFFS?!"

A little late but some personal news: I’ve accepted a role as a freelance sports writer for the @AP and covered the last week of the MLB season. I’m extremely grateful for all of those who’ve helped me get to this point and land such an amazing opportunity. I’ll be at Kings Media Day today so stay tuned for more.

Struggled to find the words to describe how hard this news has hit over last 24 hours. Wags was the light of any press box and it was always a better day/night if you saw him or were seated near him b/c 1) you knew he cared about you and 2) were about to laugh your ass off. 🍻

The first person I’d talk to when covering any game in the Bay would be Wags. Seeing him would immediately brighten my day. He took me in. Helped me out. No one better to banter with. Truly one of a kind. Will microwave a cookie for 22 seconds today. This one hurts a lot. RIP.
