Very good news. iOS Developer Beta 15.5 beta 3 and WatchOS 8.6 beta 3 fixes the complication bugs. No change required to AutoWake for it to work again.
iOS 15.4.1 does not fix the complication bug. We’ve done everything we can to help Apple fix this. Over and above really. Many hours spent on this trying to help them. If their bug is not fixed in 15.4.2 AutoWake will be regretfully withdrawn from sale.
If you can avoid it please do not update to iOS 15.4. Apple has introduced a bug that prevents iOS from knowing which complications are active on a Watch face thus rendering AutoWake unable to be used.
Does anyone use any other bedroom lights than Philips? Thinking of kicking HomeKit into touch and replacing with Hue API. Getting tired of having to unplug the lamp due to HomeKit failures from every device bar my iOS 11 iPad.
Great news. The planets are aligning. Apple has fixed the iOS 13 beta background processing bug in dev beta 7 so now AutoWake works on iOS 13 again. 🙏

Just a quick note. If you are on the developer beta WatchOS 6 stream don’t update to beta 2 as it has removed the ability for Watch and iPhone to communicate. Yes. Seriously. Beta 1 is fine though.
Let’s say you wanted to set an alarm each Friday that wakes you up after 6 hours quality sleep but no later than 7:35AM and you want a reminder 90 mins before the best time to go to bed based on your current sleep efficiency.
New watch based scheduled alarms working nicely now. That was some work! Now onto finishing the advanced features for manually activated alarms.
