Improved auto wipers
Tesla AI Sr. Staff Engineer says Tesla has implemented a new software based Auto-Wiper system that uses the wiper motor itself as a tactile sensor.
Instead of relying solely on the front cameras, the system estimates the physical friction between the rubber wiper blade and the glass by analyzing the motor’s electrical power consumption.
The system will also automatically enable the defroster when high friction is detected, such as frost or ice. Additionally, it keeps a long-term friction level average to warn when wiper replacements are necessary due to higher than normal friction. Smart stuff!
I suspect this system will get better over time with OTA updates.

ATENEA: MISIÓN CUMPLIDA 🇦🇷🛰️🌑
Hoy a las 2:00 AM, las estaciones terrenas de Córdoba y Tierra del Fuego de la @CONAE_Oficial recibieron las primeras señales de ATENEA, el satélite argentino que forma parte de la misión Artemis II de la @NASA en el regreso de la humanidad a la Luna.
Luego a las 9:00 AM, se alcanzó el punto máximo de conexión a más de 70.000 km de distancia confirmando el éxito total de la operación.
Este hito marca la entrada de Argentina por la puerta grande a la economía espacial global, bajo la gestión del presidente @JMilei y su visión de apertura e integración al mundo.
Nuestro país ingresa así en una nueva etapa: la de una nación que no solo desarrolla tecnología, sino que la exporta, la integra en misiones globales de vanguardia y compite en los segmentos más exigentes de la industria.
