I feel like getting rid of the Riven Disposition is a bad idea, it helped make the weaker weapons usable in endgame content, like the Burston and Braton, but now it'll just make those useless. Even with the best mods possible, you can't even reach what the Dispo allowed you to
What is the desired outcome of this change? -Brand new weapons will have powerful Rivens available on day one -All Rivens are guaranteed to offer a noticeable boost, including those for your favorite powerful weapons -No more constant adjustments — your Rivens will not change unless you change them through rerolling -All weapons get equal treatment, giving us more control when balancing old and new weapons -Simplified system by removing Disposition as a factor when comparing and evaluating Rivens

My fiance has decided he wants to be A Pimp Named Slickback for Halloween. And I, being the supportive wife, have started calling him "Your Pimp-a-licious-ness." And now I can't stop. I done goofed

My fiance (who is Mexican) has asked why we speak Spanish like Spaniards in the US instead of speaking it like Mexicans when Mexico is our neighbor. I have asked this question to Spanish teachers throughout high school, but was never given an answer. Does anyone actually know why

I sort of fell down a pipe and now I make stream overlays and PNGTuber models as a side hustle. Pros are that I make a lil extra moola and I've finally found my own style. Cons are my own streaming schedule has completely disappeared and all of my time is consumed

I think it's fucking hilarious how everyone is setting aside their differences and banding together to hate on Lesbian Space Princess. Is this seriously how we're going to achieve world peace?

Sabaton is one of my favorite bands, but as an armory nerd, I can't help but laugh a little because sabatons are foot armor

The "Flouride is bad" argument is so stupid because honestly theres so much research out there that's really easy to understand disproving that Flouride is bad. It's only bad if you consume a tube of toothpaste per day for 30 years. Sodium Flouride (NaF) is the one used +

A bit tricky here. HF is a weak acid and NaOH is a strong base, so so once NaF dissolves, the F- is reacting to steal protons back from the water, causing hydrolysis so it ends up as >7 pH.

Here's an even simpler breakdown: HF (acid) + NaOH (strong base) → NaF (salt) + H₂O F⁻, the conjugate base left behind, hydrolyzes water → mildly basic solution Na₂CO₃ would give you NaF too, but via a different pathway involving unstable H₂CO₃
