We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld
What makes this one so insane is that Patrick Stewart is basically a multi generational media institution unto himself.
The fact that we’re never going to see those eyes onscreen again with all their age and kindness really feels like something huge ending?

Oh man! Rest in power 😢
Very few actors have had such a big impact on my life from an early age - first as Captain Picard and then as Professor Xavier.
What a loss. What an actor.
Also, a loud critic of Trump and Brexit and a proud socialist.

the way people talk about this ship you’d think it’s the most insane, toxic, problematic relationship to ever grace a screen, and the whole time it’s just two loser loners who found each other like ijbol

It’s here where I kinda hate that this movie is beholden to TLOK’s story?
Tagah being an analogue of Aang who clearly has opposing views on how the 4 nations work is interesting as to how Airbending SUBCULTURES could exist? What are the Airbenders if they’re not Air NOMADS?
Genuinely the best way they could’ve opened this film.
Actually getting to see the Air Nation is so fucking cool cos the only real exposure we have to them is in the books? Older Aang’s voice actor is stellar, exactly how I’d imagine Aang would sound.
In Battlefront III, all the weapons for each class should be era specific to the faction/era you’re playing.
I want to feel immersed. Having to use a Sequel Trilogy era weapon when I’m defending Theed from General Grievous just so I don’t get blitzed breaks that.

Luke and Leia are such a bad example of this. Like even if we’re not taking the “chosen one” term literally (Anakin is the Chosen One) this just doesn’t apply to their dynamic at all.

"Do you worry [Abdul El-Sayed] is a bit too left wing to win in Michigan?"
Michigan voter "At this point what do we have to worry about? Anything but what we have. We're on our way to hell so at this point socialist, socialise, social, dont matter to me, lower my cost of living"
Ya Allah.
They’re mocking themselves…
