Anyone wanna take a guess at what’s going on here or has there now been enough indisputable proof that openai is monitoring the logs of high profile experts.
There's an important conversation taking place in the governance channel of @meta_pool discord server.
We are discussing drafts for upcoming MPIP that aim to improve the tokenomics of mpDAO
Would encourage all mpDAO holders community members to drop by + contribute

I am hacking 24/7, I don't need a public hackathon to do it 😉
And I encourage others to do the same: xitter.cf/Freol/status/211186156…
Alpha leak: NEAR Signer is coming soon
*** Leave a comment to get a link to the beta version of the app. ***
NEAR Signer is designed to be used as an air-gapped wallet - on an [old] iPhone that is never connected to the Internet.
It acts like a hardware Ledger device, but gives you much better UX and more features such as history of signed transactions and better display for common types of transactions (transfers, DAO proposals, NEAR Intents actions).
It was developed by Ivan Frolov (github.com/frolvanya) and his agents, but I find it so useful that I cannot keep it to myself
Always build. Ban sparingly
What Chinese labs gave us since Thursday:
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017. MIT, equal #2 open model on Artificial Analysis.
MiniMax M3.1 Flash. 42 on AA, weights on 23 October.
Ant Ming-3.0. 5 speech models, MIT.
Alibaba OpenGCUA. A computer use stack, Apache 2.0.
Today the US government banned DeepSeek from federal civilian systems.
I know who is building and who is banning.
Really excited about this one.
Seems like NEAR has not had a hackathon in a long time while they were cooking
Now that the tech is solid and has PMF they are hosting a BIG hackathon to advance the tech
(P.S I was one of the first and few to hack with chain signatures in Brussels 2024, yeah things have changed A LOT since then)
NEAR HACKATHON is now live with $250K+ in prizes.
No signup. Just ship a public repo + public demo post between November 1st & Nov 14, 23:59 UTC.
Build on NEAR Intents, chain signatures, chain abstraction, NEAR AI Cloud, & more.

About the "public good"
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

Introducing Pirate ZK Inference
You can now use DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 and other sovereign AI models anonymously:
Connect your agent, choose a model, and Pirate ZK Inference anonymizes your personal details before they reach your inference provider like OpenRouter.
Featuring zkAPI + a TEE enclaved scrubber model. This is Pirate Face's first feature in its upcoming privacy ladder for AI.
Try it below ↓
Communism is great when all of the power and ownership is held by a tightly controlled group *on behalf* of the public (no one ever sees any benefit).
Anthropic should ditch the Public Benefit bs and give the shares directly to people. Real economic redistribution, real voting rights.

“How did you keep the development of this secret for so long?”
“I didnt. I simply told everyone and nobody believes us”

I’m not. Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.

I just won Blockchain Berkeley Hackathon (Ripple Track) by @CalBlockchain
Now it's my 5th win, I feel like I start enjoying it more.
Happy Birthday @NEARProtocol
What a crazy ride it's been. And we are just getting started 😜
🤖 Made with AI
Today is the 6th anniversary of @NEARProtocol MainNet!
A lot of great tech has shipped since Oct. 13, 2020 – but our vision has not changed: all people should be able to control their own assets, data, and power of choice. We all deserve access to tools and technology that enhance our sovereignty, intelligence, and opportunity – and in many ways this mission feels even more urgent than it did when we started NEAR 8 years ago.
The last year has brought some great milestones:
–@near_intents has moved $34B in volume, up from $2B this time last year
–Intents integrated 15 more chains for a total of 35, with dozens of app integrations
–Launched Confidential Intents, which grew to $3B as of today in volume and $170m TVL
–near(dot)com launched & shipped tons of new features in under a year
–Near One shipped dynamic resharding and post-quantum signing
–Achieved 1M TPS in a public benchmark
–@near_ai is providing confidential inference to Venice, Brave Browser, and the government of Bermuda – and is now available on OpenRouter
–Token economics upgrades shifted towards greater value capture, including inflation halving, the Intents fee switch, and revenue generation
–Launched House of Stake 2.0 and formalized tokenholder governance
–@alexskidanov made major strides towards cheap, scalable formal verification
–First NEAR ETF with @bitwise and first public treasury company launched @svrn_ai
This only scratches the surface of our ecosystem’s achievements this year – thank you to all in the @NEARProtocol community, whether you’re a new believer or were there at the beginning. Let’s keep building in a positive-sum mindset and watch everyone else catch up.

> we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors
the FBI agents or the Codex agents?
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.
At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated.
We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.
Alien Evals are here
Everyone's posting about RSI. So we built the exam AI can't study for.
Most benchmark questions have decades of human discussion behind them, and all of that text sits in the training data. So a high score might just mean a good memory.
We created two alien worlds where nothing a model learned applies: print 100 and you get 127 back, and the manual is wrong on purpose. Ten frontier models went in. None scored above 16% before exploring, and four rounds of experiments later, the best hit 89%.
Every score on the board is a measure of discovery.
