There's nothing more invigorating than doing an #ISAWCS23 presentation at 4am! At the "Housing Policies and Practices: Authoritarian Means to Dispossess the Urban Poor or the Tolerance of Neglected Citizens?" session.
Again & again, over the years these forms of urban revanchism keep coming up, structural causes of why people take to the street rarely addressed. Good to be yesterday's #ISAWCS2023 #RC21 session & see different approaches that other countries use to deal with homelessness.

Working in the public education system in Sri Lanka is a challenging task although I do admit it is rewarding! But it essentially a service and most of it if I might be say is voluntary. Just assessment alone is draining. Setting innovative assessment tasks for student
