MY HONEST LIVERPOOL PLAYER RATINGS VS ARSENAL
Alisson - 6/10: Couldn't do much about the goal, but made a brilliant save to deny Tzolis and keep us in the game.
Araujo - 7/10: A solid performance defensively. Did his job well for most of the game.
Van Dijk - 7.5/10: Strong performance from the captain. Had to cover for Jacquet on several occasions and dealt with the danger well.
Jacquet - 6/10: Made a few errors during the game. Van Dijk had to bail him out more than once.
Kerkez ⭐ - 8/10: MY MAN OF THE MATCH. Excellent performance. Worked hard defensively, supported the attack and kept pushing throughout the game.
Nyoni - 5.5/10: Found it difficult to cope with Arsenal's midfield pressure. Szoboszlai looked better after coming on.
Mac Allister - 7/10: One of our better players. Worked hard in midfield and came close to scoring.
Barcola - 5.5/10: Too soft in his approach. Lacks power in his shots and often seemed more interested in rolling the ball into passes than taking responsibility in the final third.
Wirtz - 6.5/10: Had some good moments, including the free kick that hit the bar, but we needed more creativity from him.
Gakpo - 5.5/10: Didn't offer enough before being substituted. Another game where he struggled to make a real impact.
Isak - 5.5/10: Had a few moments but wasn't decisive enough in front of goal.
SUBSTITUTES
Szoboszlai - 6/10: Better than Nyoni after coming on. Added more urgency to our midfield.
Ngumoha - 7.5/10: OUR BEST WINGER ON THE DAY. Caused Arsenal plenty of problems with his direct running and willingness to take defenders on.
