Anthropic engineer Addy Osmani warns that AI could make us stop thinking for ourselves.
Working on Claude Code, he says AI agents now handle so much of his work that he rarely needs to use critical thinking.
He identifies three stages: “cognitive offloading” (delegating tasks), “deferral” (accepting AI answers) and “cognitive surrender” (trusting AI completely).
“Skills that you stop exercising are going to go away, and probably faster than you might guess.”

Grimes told Zack London, director of the upcoming AI film “Gods Don’t Give Gifts,” that she’d “love” to be involved with the movie.
“We started chatting, and it was like, ‘Oh, we know a ton of the same people,’” London tells Variety. “She was like, ‘I would love to do something with you.’ And then, it was basically, ‘Well, I wish I knew that earlier, but let’s find a way for you to be in this.’”
Grimes declined an interview request. Her spokesperson said in a statement that she “appreciates indie artists using new tools to create independent art—especially in the age of big studio monopolies.”
“She was particularly impressed that they had such a large team and were involving and compensating so many artists, voice actors, and musicians,” her spokesperson added. “She believes in supporting the right kind of culture around AI in cinema rather than acquiescing to the current model of having no standards.”

No todo necesita conectarse a la red. A veces es más barato poner a una persona a gestionar aparatos que centralizarlo. Además, me sorprende mucho que no se disparen ALERTAS cuando un aparato no funciona como se debe.
