ALT Panel 1: Text reads "The Boy From Venus HALLOWEEN SPECIAL" as Audrey is dressed as Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers in 'hopping' position and Val is dressed as Jedah Dohma from Darkstalkers, brandishing her hands like knives. Audrey is smiling while Val is serious. Panel 2: Audrey and Val are walking through a park littered with beautiful fall leaves. Audrey is wearing a brown button-up sweatshirt atop a white top, an orange ascot, and a blue skirt. Val is wearing an orange beanie that looks like an acorn cap, a grey jacket, a white shirt with a yellow stripe, and dark brown sweatpants. "Hey Val, what are you going as for Halloween?" asks Audrey. Panel 3: "I ... don't really dress up for Halloween," replies Val, smiling but clearly finding the question silly. Panel 4: Audrey leans forward to look her in the face directly, revealing that he's also wearing an orange maple leaf hair clip. "Aw, why not??" he asks, "You would make a REALLY GOOD Jeff the Killer!"

ALT Panel 5: Val, still smiling, sweats a bit and looks worried, with an arrow labeling her "(not sure how to take that)". "What are YOU going as?" she asks. Panel 6: Audrey smiles radiantly and replies enthusiastically: "A CAT!" Panel 7: "Oh. Cool," Val replies, smiling indecipherably. Panel 8: As she turns her gaze away from Audrey it's revealed in a thought bubble that she's imagining him dressed as Felicia, the cat woman from Darkstalkers. Her eyes glisten.

ALT Panel 9: Later, Val is waiting on a sidewalk at night, illuminated by a streetlight, near a crosswalk. She is dressed as Jeff the Killer, complete with white facepaint, red facepaint mouth scars, fake blood on a light grey sweatshirt, fake bloody toy knife. Her hair is also down and mess, like Jeff the Killer's. Panel 10: "Val! Over here!" a voice calls from the side as she turns her head. Panel 11: Audrey is approaching, crossing the sidewalk and waving to her, dressed as a pale, cream color, heavily furred car, with some bits of his hair gelled together and dyed a matching color. "Aw, you dressed up after all!" he says, "I told you you'd look amazing!!" Panel 12: Val just stands there flabbergasted, mouth hanging open.

ALT Panel 13: Audrey points at his whisker-lined face with a gloved hand as says "I'm Old Deuteronomy from CATS." Panel 14: Val looks down at the ground with a blank expression and begins shaking as the world's color begins to fade around her. She speaks: "When ... when you said a CAT, you ... you meant like, from CATS ... the Broadway play? ..." Panel 15: Audrey leans in a puts his hands up, bend back at the wrists but fingers curled, in an expression of interest as his eyes sparkle. "There was even a BROADWAY PLAY based on it??" he begins, "I had no idea THAT MOVIE WAS THAT POPULAR!!" That last bit of text swims and chromatically aberrates, and if you were hearing it in audio it would probably be in slow motion. Val looks at him dead eyed. Panel 16: Val has fallen backwards on the sidewalk with a thousand yard stare, dropping her toy knife. Audrey stands over her going "VAL?? VAL????" and at the bottom it says "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!" with two ghosts replacing the "A"s.

ALT Panel 1: Profile view of Val looking at Audrey, slightly nervous about what he's going to suggest, and saying "So, you're going to ... help me clean?" Panel 2: Audrey shrugs, smiling and sticking his tongue out, and replies, "Nah, it'll just get dirty again." Val raises her arms in exclamation and says "That's what I'M saying!!" Panel 3: Closeup of Audrey's feet with a balled up piece of paper between laying on the ground between them. He's wearing socks that make his fit look like grey tabby cat feet, with a striped pattern and white end bits. He says "But there ARE reasons it's like this, Val. For example, this piece of paper next to my foot..." Panel 4: Closeup of Val's trash bin, overflowing with pieces of paper stained with snack crumbs, envelopes, red bags of chips, and green soda cans. Audrey's cartoon head is stamped in the foreground looking at it, saying "It's probably there because your trash bin is overflowing."

ALT Panel 5: Val crosses her arms and looks down at the ground as one of the many trash bags in her room looms behind her, saying "Well YEAH. I should take out the trash more often, but I'm too LAZY." Panel 6: Audrey exhales deeply, clearly exasperated, and says "And there you go calling yourself LAZY. Look, imagine there's a big tree in my yard ..." Panel 7: The scene changes to a simplified, lineless storybook style as Audrey looks at green, orange, and yellow autumn tree that is dropping leaves, which the ground is littered with. "The tree drops leaves on the ground in the fall," Audrey continues narrating. Panel 8: Continuing the storybook style, a leaf with a cartoonish "X"s for eyes and tongue out dead expression is laying on a blade of grass, which also has that "X"s for eyes and tongue out dead expression. "But leaves may kill the grass if I don't clean them up," continues Audrey.

ALT Panel 9: Audrey puts his hands behind his back and leans forward slightly, asking Val "So what do you think I do, Val" Panel 10: Shrugging slightly and looking away, Val guess "You get a rake and clean up the leaves?" Panel 11: Audrey points at her, smiling happily, and says "CLOSE!" Panel 12: Audrey pretends to hold an axe, which manifests to you, the viewer, as red energy, as the background turns into a black and red spiral and his smile turns maniacal. "I get an axe and chop down the tree," he says.

ALT Panel 13: Val goes wide-eyed and shivers with clenched teeth, sweating a bit, thinking "S-SCARY ..." Panel 14: Audrey smile innocently and waves his hands, as if the dispel the notion, and elaborates: "Okay, maybe that's an EXTREME example. But the point is, ya' gotta look at how things GET THERE, Val. You have to fix how a thing IS many times, but you only have to fix how it GOT there ONCE." Panel 15: Audrey points behind himself with his thumb as his eye sparkles and he says "I'm not gonna help ya' clean ... BUT ... Let's go to Ykea and get you a bigger trash bin." Panel 16: They're on the train coming back from Ykea, which is an Ikea parody. In the windows behind them, the sun is setting over the town. Val is holding a large black trash in her hands and between her knees, smiling and talking with Audrey as Audrey shows her something on her phone. The light of the setting sun bounces between the metal parts of the train and illuminates the scene in an orange glow.
