A commissioned work based on “Killing Commendatore” by Haruki Murakami Collected 1/1 “Faint Tinkle of Loss” by @whiteyedcat on OBJKT Art Description "each time that I reminisce on the past, I always seem to notice a tiny, but unforgettable instant that I left behind me along with certain other things that remain constant throughout it's always a new dawn, a new dusk, a new day but the past catches up and devours me to live in the old dawns, old dusks, old days in the dark of its belly (believe me when the past has a belly, the past has a belly) and I need to find my way out of here to regain my face back when I look at my reflection in the mirror" She’s brilliant in her own ways on making a book interpretation. Especially Haruki Murakami books. This piece is gorgeous, filled with symbolism, the faceless man, the bells, the girl Donna. The colors are gorgeous in this piece and the details are amazing. Thanks WEC for another brilliant commissioned artwork based on a book 🤍 Such an honor to always have your works in my collection
