Lots more chatter (again) about a possible peace deal with Iran (again).
Iran media (whatever that implies) reporting that the Ayatollah has granted the gov't the authority for talks.
After nearly 9 months it's easy to read this as "here we go again" but the Iranian economy is imploding and it is selling basically zero of its only product: oil.
They are no doubt also aware that the US has a huge military buildup in the region and there's a real chance strikes occur.
Oil down a touch right now. Next 72 hours will be critical.

Blackstone Leads $3.1 Billion Deal to Acquire LNG Canada Stake
A Blackstone Inc.-led investor group agreed to acquire a stake in LNG Canada’s liquefaction business from a Mitsubishi Corp. subsidiary for $3.1 billion.
Other investors in the transaction for a 49.9% stake in LNG Canada’s business owned by the Mitsubishi unit include Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, the Investment Management Corp. of Ontario and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board.
Mitsubishi, one of Japan’s largest liquefied natural gas suppliers, will remain the controlling partner and keep its full share of the LNG offtake, according to a statement Monday. (Bloomberg)

If elected, $TOU.TO could still consolidate the drier AB #Montney ( -> $BIR.TO $AAV.TO + $SRX2.0 etc).
Deep Basin could still be consolidated, good to see $VET.TO (and $CVE) picked apart.
