I’ve said for years that prematurely crowning Mahomes the GOAT would backfire. The media sold everyone the shiny new toy, pretending he’d already surpassed Brady. Now that he’s regressed, the ones who built him up are turning on him. It was always about selling a narrative.

The hilarious thing people will say is oh the Seahawks defense is just that good. Meanwhile Brady was constantly battling with hall of fame defenses like Pittsburgh , Baltimore and a lot of others in their prime. Mahomes gets one taste of a competitive defense and folds 🤣
