THE GREAT RESET This is a modern retelling of the oldest story we have that the world was once greater, more ordered and more advanced and that it was violently returned to raw matter by fire, flood, and mud leaving only the bones of buildings that geology later claimed as its own. What he sees as melted skyscrapers, petrified doorways and buried spires in Bryce Canyon, Cappadocia, Petra and the Grand Canyon is in conventional terms, the ordinary work of differential erosion, volcanic tuff, sedimentary layering and intentional rock-cut architecture yet the pattern seeking mind is not wrong to feel the uncanny in those shapes because the same landscapes also record real planetary resets. Spiritually, this is the same motion as the descent and return of the soul, or the cyclic yugas and apocalyptic unveilings. The fire is the burning of an old form (Sodom, Babel, the ego’s empire), the flood is the dissolution that follows and the mud is the new ground on which a quieter, more embodied consciousness must rebuild. Whether or not the specific hoodoos were once cities, the deeper invitation is to read the earth itself as a palimpsest of resets—catastrophic, purifying and ultimately initiatory through which both matter and consciousness are periodically returned to a state from which something else can emerge.
