We have tendered an offer sheet to Dallas Stars winger Jason Robertson. The offer is a six-year contract worth an average annual value (AAV) of $22.5M, which would require four of the Thrashers first-round draft picks in each of the next four seasons as compensation.
Good luck explaining to Gauthier that he's not worth 15M - 16M if they match that 18M offer sheet for Carlsson.
Wherever he's going, he's destroying the cap structure of that team.
