We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear friend Sam McDowell. A strikeout king. His life a story of redemption;after extensive education/training, Sam was a counselor for athletes suffering from addiction and depression. Condolences to family/friends 🙏🏻

Childhood idol Rocco Domenico Colavito born this day 1933 here w/Tito after ceremonial first pitch a number of years ago. Always special when The Rock visited Cleveland-whether wonderful evening during 2019 ASG week at Playhouse Square or unveil of statue this date in 2021.
