Andrew Fischer: Baseball America’s 2026 MiLB Player of the Year ⭐️
In the year of the home run, Brewers first baseman Andrew Fischer’s 48 homers for High-A Wisconsin and Double-A Biloxi set him apart.
Fischer hit more home runs than any minor leaguer since Ron Kittle hit 50 for Edmonton in 1982.
Fischer batted .273/.413/.654 overall. The 22-year-old led the minors in home runs, slugging percentage and total bases. For his historic power production, Fischer is the Baseball America 2026 Minor League Player of the Year.
28 HRs in 2026 including this 🚀 at 117mph! @payne_braylon #Thisismycrew

Braylon Payne popped his 19th and 20th home runs of the season tonight. 108 & 106 mph off the bat, he has his first 20/20 season at just 19 years old.
He's been unbelievable to watch all season at High-A.
