ALT Deforestation consists in the felling of trees. When the felling exceeds the regrowth rate is called deforestation. The consequences of deforestation lead to the loss of fertile soil and the change of the entire ecosystem. Fires become more frequent, accelerating the process of desertification. Deforestation is linked to an increase in carbon dioxide that plays a key role in global warming. The problem of deforestation affects many areas of the Planet, but especially those areas that provide valuable timber and unfortunately are also that have more biodiversity such as rainforests. Over the last 30 years, the world’s forest area has shrunk by more than 420 million hectares, at a rate of about 4.7 million hectares per year since 2010.

ALT A wildfire is an unplanned fire that burns in a natural area. This fire can be caused by a natural phenomenon or human activity and they can happen everywhere at any time. Although wildfires are usually casual climate change can affect the frequency of them happening. Climate change affects Wildfire because with the rise of temperatures evaporare more moisture from the soil, so the vegetation gets drier and so more flammable. In turn when there is a wildfire a lot of climate changing carbon in the Atmosphere. If climate change continues this process will only get stronger and the number of wildfires is going to rise. According to an U.N. report, global Warming and changes to land use patterns are going to cause a lot of wildfires that will cause spikes in unhealthy smoke pollution and other problems that governments aren't ready to face. In fact the probability of catastrophic wildfires could increase by a third by 2050 and increase by 50% by the end of the century.
