I support @TomPerez for Maryland's next Governor. So does my colleague Delegate Vaughn Stewart. Check out Vaughn's fantastic thread summarizing all the reasons why Tom is best suited to lead our state! @DelegateStewart #TeamTom
I’m supporting @TomPerez for Governor. My reason is simple: Of all the (excellent!) candidates in the race, Tom has the most consistent record of standing up for working people.
Tom has done tons of stuff and it’s honestly difficult to keep track of it all. So let’s do a thread.

As President Obama's Secretary of Labor, I proudly defended workers and the right to collectively bargain.
As Maryland’s governor, I’ll do the same.
@ShannonSneed4MD and I are so thankful to have earned @MDDCStateFed's support.
60 days until Election Day. Let's win together.

I am so honored to receive the Washington Post’s endorsement!
“…none of the candidates can match Mr. Perez’s track record or command of governing. Few candidates in Maryland’s history, or the country’s, would enter a governor’s office so well prepared.”

It was great to join @MayorBMScott, @AntonioHayes40 @SenatorMcCray and Rodney Oddoye, Senior VP Government & External Affairs of #BGE.
@MayorBMScott joined @MyBGE and elected officials at the @marylandzoo to celebrate BGE's first EVsmart chargers installed in Baltimore City. These stations give drivers the option to charge vehicles while visiting the @marylandzoo or Druid Hill Park.

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to show us just how fragile food security is. I am proud to have sponsored legislation that, today, establishes the Heat and Eat Program. This Program will expand food access to Maryland families. #IntentionallyFocused #Working4MD – at Lansdowne, MD

Thanks @MahoganyPrice, for the kind words at my campaign for Governor’s launch event in Baltimore yesterday. It’s been an honor advocating for workers’ rights with you, and I’m grateful for your support.
P.S. I’ll have to bring my dance moves back out at a future event! 🕺
