The film follows human rights lawyer @iguangcheng as he travels to California to meet revolutionary artist Chen Weiming and experience his polarizing work in person at Liberty Sculpture Park.
Chen Weiming was born in China but fled to New Zealand as the #CCP tightened its grip on freedom of expression. He made his way to the US, where he founded Liberty Sculpture Park in CA. His art memorializes the human rights abuses committed by the CCP & around the world.
Following protests surrounding Xi Jinping's visit to the United States, @iguangcheng discusses reports of suspected assaults and intimidation.
One protester was even hospitalized after being found nearly dead in his apartment.
