Disappointing set up and venue for @ECNLgirls Sanford. Unsafe fields, parking is a joke, and silly long lines for Nike gear. Is this really the best we can offer for #ecnl

NCAA TRANSFER PORTAL 🚨
Ready….Set…..Goooo!
Good luck everyone. A LOT of talent will be in the portal this year.
Transfers, keep posting on social media that you’re planning on transferring with a bio and a highlight film. College coaches are watching.
College coaches, don’t be shy, put yourself out there and sell your school with social media post and videos and tag us if you’d like letting transfers know you’re interested.
Overall:
-It’s not lazy recruiting, it’s smart. A proven athlete is a safer bet for a college coach.
-Transfer Portal will affect uncommitted 2025’s and 2026’s looking for D1 and potentially even D2 schools.
-Not every athlete is going to find a home.
-There will be record breaking numbers in the portal this year.
-Some College coaches are going to wish they had more money and room for transfers
-The Transfer Portal is the new JC
-Committed 2025’s, and 2026’s I hope you’re paying attention and working hard so this doesn’t happen to you.
Recruiting order for college coaches:
Before the Portal:
1. Re-recruit their own players
2. Club Soccer
3. Juco
4. Transfers
Since the Portal:
1. Re-recruit their own players
2. Transfers
3. Club Soccer
4. Juco
Recruits, be careful of the college coaches selling you on come to my school (JC, D3, D2,) and I’ll help you transfer to D1. There are no guarantees.
College coaches, be realistic and save yourself time and energy on the transfers you reach out to based on your situation.
Transfers, be realistic and save yourself time and energy on the schools you reach out to based on your current success and the college division you were at. Also make sure you’re not being recruited just for enrollment purposes to be on a roster of 40+.
Well…to the college coaches, Happy Hunting. To the transfers, good luck and be careful with what the next coach is selling you, just look at what happened to you now.
To the true high school athlete, the uncommitted 2025 and 2026, the transfer portal is not your friend.
You need to hurry!
College coaches, tag us and let us know if you’re looking for transfers.
Good luck everyone!

This is 🎯 by @ImCollegeSoccer and one of the reason we have shared so many posts about how Camp ID invitations are NOT real interest for 2026s. Most programs will discover 1 or 2 players per class out of the hundreds that attend so if you go know the lottery odds 👇
Recruits and Parents,
We’re receiving a lot of DMs with the same concern lately.
“How do I know if the email is of real interest or just another ID camp invite?”
One thing is for sure….

This is good stuff!

Playing college ⚽️ is an unbelievable commitment, dedication and sacrifice. It will be nowhere close to your HS or club experience.
Do your research thoroughly.
Ask yourself, “what kind of academic, athletic, and social experience do I want?”
Make sure you’re happy!
