Perspectives on Bushveld Minerals and the future of Energy Storage using Vanadium Flow Batteries

I believe that this platform (Twitter, X whatever) will be essentially defunct by the end of this year. As a result it is vital to consider alternatives to keep #VRFB #Flowbattery and #BMN interested communities together. Please reply with suggestions.

Bushveld Minerals is now completely uninvestable. Since Fortune Mojapelo was let go the board have failed spectacularly. This is why I have now sold my complete shareholding.

I see lots of Right wingers are using places like Denmark as a shining beacon of why National service is great. It’s funny, cos they don’t ever seem to champion all the OTHER aspects of life for young Danes. Little 🧵 1/12

For private investors who bought shares in the vertically integrated #Vanadium to #Flowbatteries business perhaps the only opinion they should really be listening to right now #BMN
1)This post concerns the upcoming Bushveld Minerals (#BMN) General Meeting & why I’ll be voting AGAINST the proposed 100% disposal of Vanchem to SPR in place of an already existing & as yet incomplete deal to sell 50% of Vanchem + BMN’s interest in Mokopane deposit for total$25m.

Where is the evidence that the purchasers of Vanchem will pay back the 1Billion rand debt back to BMN/Vametco ?

The board need to be removed but a lot of that debt and opex go with vanchem as does the liabilities. Vanchem is an expensive mine to run once you have stabilised Vametco then you can tie in some of that surrounding assets which are on the floor right now and add your growth

I fail to see how #BMN can survive if it sells Vanchem for no more additional upfront cash, and there is no mention of repayment of the loan of some 1Billion Rand (£40M) that was made from Vametco to Vanchem to rebuild it. BMN retains debts, gives away best asset.

When an offer is apparently made for the company that is 100% more than the public MCap of the company at the time it is absolutely astonishing that the shareholders were not informed. Questions need to be answered by the board ahead of the vote.

The board has a mountain of questions to answer. If this offer of 7p is legitimate back in june/July while we were around 3p, then it should have been made public

This is big news. Suella Braverman acted beyond her power in substantively changing the meaning of 'serious disruption' rather than clarifying it. What will happen to the 100s of JSO protesters arrested using these powers? #law #protest
BREAKING We said we would #DefendDemocracy... AND WE'VE WON our case against Government anti-protest laws that completely ignored the will of Parliament

I agree that the proposed Vanchem sale to SPR makes no sense. It does not forward any more cash to continue operations than the existing 50% (signed) sale agreement would.
The mining economics of disposing the Vanchem asset that advances a strategic value proposition vs an asset sale price of $40,6m to SPR with a 50% write-down based on a cumulative agreement. Both don't make business sense whether it's operationally, financially or otherwise.

I have today emailed my complaint to [email protected] against Bushveld Minerals and the Nomad SP Angel with my view based on the company’s articles and my question 2 in the new response to Bushveld that SPR shares should not be used for voting.

Totally agree the Bushveld-Minerals board have a duty to its shareholders to answer perfectly reasonable questions. The last public offer was never going to be bought up because the shareprice was actually lower than the offer price.

Bushveld Minerals board has more questions to answer from Portillion Capital These are legitimate questions around a company changing transaction which shareholders are being expected to vote upon in 16 days time.

Yes you are ane like 3 others, but investors are out of the market for sure. I'm accumulating Largo and a very small position in Bushveld (hope it survives). The comeback of vanadium will be insane.

How about instead of a liquid metal battery developed by a single company that tries to ride the private equity hype cycle we concentrated on #Vanadium #Flowbatteries that are being built by dozens of companies around the world and are being rolled out at GWh scale in China #IES
